I have never owned a leopard gecko and am only in the market for a juvenile female classic/wild type. I found ReptMart to be the only place that carries them and appears to have a decent facility and reputation. obviously I am new so If anyone can verify my assumptions it would be appreciated.

Are you planning on breeding or just keeping one as a pet. If so as a pet yes I would buy from them, but if you are looking for breeding stock I don’t recommend reptmart is a huge facility that mass produces leopard geckos so genetics won’t be entirely known plus you won’t see exact pictures of the gecko or geckos you are getting.

Thanks for the response. I am not looking to breed, my reptile breeding days are over with, I work too much any way. I am simply looking for a place with a decent reputation that carries CB Sexed Classics. I am open to other suggestions also in terms of breeders.

Not going to lie I have a gecko from them and he is a perfectly happy healthy gecko. He was my first gecko before I decided I wanted to get in to breeding. He is to this day healthy and happy and I love him dearly. So you should be fine as long as your not breeding because he is right about the unknown genetics that will pop up. They breed for quantity. So you may get some het for albino or eclipses just something else will be in there. Hope that helped.

Thanks for your help as well. I am naturally hesitant of large operations because I worked for one in my early twenties. I just am not going to pay 60 bucks for a sexed cb classic.
