rescue baby with missing toes update!

i figured you guys would like to see how mittens is doing. she's getting so big! if anyone didn't know we got her from a chain store with a retained eye and toe sheds so she lost most of her little toes. people here helped me get the shed off her eyes even though we thought she was going to be blind.

here's what she looked like the day we got the shed off her eyes (her jaws still a little uneven from the scab on her face here) you can see her toes are really black and dead under there.

and today

i adore this little girl and she gets spoiled. so glad we brought her home and got her through everything.

Aww she's so pretty! I'm so glad you were able to rescue her and give her a wonderful home that she deserves. It's obvious from the pics that she's definitely spoiled - awesome.

thank you guys! she was definitely worth all the time we spent making her feel better. all her little nub toes are so cute but it makes it hard for her to hold onto us. i'll keep you all updated as she gets bigger!
