She finally pooped! It's weird to be excited about that, but oh well. Three days ago she pooped for the first time: when I noticed it, I started to change out her paper towels and noticed that it was full of bird seed(millet type stuff). So now that question is: were they feeding her bird seed? Or using it as substrate? either way that's really strange. She has been going normally since. She eats like a champ, but only the slurry, no crickets or mealies yet. All the old shed has been removed from her face, eyes, and toes. Amazingly she still had all of her toes, she is only missing the nails on 2 toes. She is a lot more active and is getting her colour back.

I have seen millet sold as substrate for reptiles, the idea being (I guess) that it will pass through harmlessly if ingested.

I see it used for uros all the time. In fact I use it at the store for the uros as they tend to stick to repti-carpet.:p There was a ton of seed in her feces, so she was definately eating it in a decent amount. I had been soaking her and using a bit of mineral oil because she wasn't going poo. Judging by the amount she was at least a little "backed up" my guess(the vet agrees), because of the bird seed.
