Rescued Beardie

So I was browsing craigslist looking for a good deal on a 40G since my baby beardie is growing like a week and will outgrow her 20L fairly fast...when I came upon this one add. The person was giving away a beardie for FREE and came with a full 40g setup with lighting and some old tanks and things that he had outgrown...too good to be true but I messged the seller anyway. I was lucky enough that they still had it and I picked him up.

Now to the fun part, he's about a year old and doesn't seem nearly big enough, the person said they couldnt take care of him and were out of state alot. He seems kind of thin and possibly may be showing signs on MBD.

I fed him a salad, some crickets, and some mealworms (used them as croutons for his salad) Which he ate all of and gave him a bath just to be on the safe side. I'm running his temps around 100 and he has a basking bulb as well as the UVB one.

Already scheduled a vet visit for him, couldn't get in until Wednesday since it's not an "emergency" and I more or less want to just get him checked out...wish me luck with this guy and I'll post pictures tomorrow, also I'll welcome any tips anyone has for me since I'm normally a leo person.

Managed to get some good news from the vet yesterday, looks like with some proper guy this guy will come around, already putting on weight and eating like a champ...friendly guy to haha
