My gecko has been sneezing and yamning VERY frequentlly. He has eye caps which are slowly but surely coming off and being removed. He had mouth rot but that is gone. To help rid the eye caps I have been giving him frequent baths what I would do is put him in a small tupper ware container with air holes and about half a inch of lukewarm water and I would put him in my bathroom when I take my shower [because it is very steamy(humid)] so that can help him shed the eye caps. The problem is I'm leaving for four days on vaca with my parents. Will he be ok. Does he have a respitory infection!?!?!?. I will make a vet appointment when I get back this will be the 4th maybe even 5th -_-"

Respiratory infections are characterized by wheezing, labored breathing, and visible discharge from the nostrils. A respiratory infection often results from prolonged exposure to cooler temperatures. Does your gecko exhibit any of those symptoms?
When caught early enough, it can be cured by simply raising the temperatures of the enclosure to about 90-95 degrees Fahrenheit. If that doesn't clear it up in a few days, then a vet is needed.

From the information you've provided, the gecko doesn't sound like he has a respiratory infection, but does he show any other symptoms?
