It's been a few months now.... But on March 1st my beloved kitty of 16 years passed away. I haven't gotten enough guts to write about her until now (and I cry as I do).
Since the moment we took her home she never stopped purring. She would keep you up all night just purring in your ear. I remember when I got chicken pox in kindergarten and she laid with me the whole time. She would use her little feet to "make bread" and it helped with the itching very much.
She was sooooo tiny when we first got but but within a year or two she put on the pounds. She gained so much weight that at her peak she was a hefty 20 pounds.
These last few years she started to pee on things because she did not like the other cats, so we gave her her own room. She liked that. Every time you would go and visit her she was very happy and never wanted you to leave.
She started to lose a lot of weight within the last year. She got down to 10 pounds. We took her to the vet and they gave us some medicine and about a month later my Mother found her.
She passed on in her sleep.
She was the sweetest kitty I had ever met and I miss her so much.
I will miss you very much Sarah.
