Retained eye shed

My leopard gecko has a difficult time shedding and hasn't used her moist hide because my room is freezing and the ambient viv temp was too cold. I purchased a higher watt heating bulb and a new hide for her next shed, but as of right now she has one strand of skin keeping her eye shut. It's day 2 of being shut.
So far I have been wetting a qtip and rubbing it over her eye. I tried a little bit of jojoba oil too. I sprayed her with water, sprayed the tank with water, added wet paper towels inside her warm hide to increase humidity but nothing has worked. I tried gently pulling on her head to snap the skin but this causes her discomfort and she will scratch at her eye. She hasn't eaten in 2 days besides 1 meal worm last night. Any advice on how I can loosen this skin? Here is a pic, sry for the Instagram handle.

NVM :D I continued to rub a wet qtip on her eye. I did this like every 2-3 hours. i also used jojoba oil (although I was super worried of getting it in her eye). despite her condition, she still had an appetite but I had to place the worms in front of her. After eating a few, she proceeded to her dish to eat more and I believe the movement of eating is helping break the skin! It is still held by a small piece but her eye can actually open now. Moral of the story…
Get an adequate moist hide (I was using a ceramic mug with moss. I believe the opening is too big to retain moisture)
If you have a cold room, a heating mat is NOT enough. Get a 100 watt heat bulb (I use moonlight since she doesn't need the UV) and warm up the rest of the viv so your gecko uses its hide. I hope this post helps someone else.
