reticulating python

so a biker friend of mine loves snakes. he has two boas and 2 anacondas and one mochason(sp). he expressed a want in getting a reticulating python and wanted to see if i could find him a breeder online that he could possibly get one from (he currently has no access to the net). so i have been looking and cant find it anywere. so here is my question. Number 1 does anyone know of any breeders for this species of pythong? Number 2 if not is this python illegal to own? Sorry i dont know any better so i figured id see if any of yall did.

WOW. He's goin big. How much room does he have? Well i think his best bet would be to try nd find a zoo or somthin with a reticulated python breeding programm and see if they would sell one. Nd i think you can get a permit for a snake like that.

Bob Clark breeds all kinds of reticulated pythons as do NERD and many many more breeders. I would go to them before going to a zoo.... my opinion.:main_laugh:

hmm it is funny that listing says any type of crocodile breeds as well. two of the pet shops in the area sell caimon (sp) so i guess they will have to stop that by jan. and one of the guys i ride with owns a gaboon so i guess he will have to get rid of it. that sucks he loves that snake.

they stopped croc species in my county years ago but that new bill be be state wide.

It appears that if you already own a snake listed you can keep it, you just have to follow the ownership registration and rules.
