reverse stripe vs normal stripe

im having the hardest time seeing the difference between the reverse stripe and just a regular red stripe... does anyone have good pics showing the difference...and what are the genetics behind the reverse stripe?

The regular stripes have two dark stripes down their sides with an 'open' back, while reverse stripes have a dark stripe down the center of their back with the sides 'open'. Here is a regular stripe and a couple of reverse stripes.
