Reverse Stripes

Hey guys,

I recently picked up 1.2 Reverse Stripes at the Reptile Show on Saturday. When breeding Reverse Stripes, is it as simply as Reverse Stripe x Reverse Stripe = Reverse Stripe, or is there more to it?

I can tell you that its a trait that just pops up. Breeding the two together will not give you all reverse stripes. You will have a better possibility in getting some but you will also probably get a lot of jungles as well. Where are the pictures???? LOL

I have no experience whatsoever with reverse stripes, BUT... I wouldnt expect it to be that simple because a patternless stripe x patternless stripe isnt (RAPTOR projects). Same scenario as far as i can see, you have geckos that although both showw a reverse stripe they essentially carry a whole bag of traits to get that reverse stripe, some of these traits i would expect to occur in the offspring, mainly stripes and jungles.

This is all a guess based on the RAPTOR projects so it would do you good to hear other comments but i hope this helps a little.

Here are some resualts I had this year from a partial reverse stripe albino to reverse stripe albino I would think if mom was a full reverse stripe there would have been more full stripes and not partial revs.
Clutch1 1 reverse stripe 1 jungle
C2 1 partial rev.
C3 1 partrial rev. 1 jungle
C4 1 partial rev.
C5 1 partial rev. 1 jungle
