not entirely certain what happened with this pic.
the exposure was correct on the camera, and the thumbnail was correct in RawTherapee, yet when I loaded the picture I had to take it doen 2 EV stops to get it the correct exposure.
and then it mucked up the colours in the image,
using the free version of Photomatix (via wine on Ubuntu) I made up a HDR version using a 0,-1,-2,-3,-4 exposures, and its got a better exposure, and the colours are more realistic (previously correcting the image exposure turned the image somewhat grey. and increasing saturation made it far to red.)
however photomatix seems to have detracted form the sharpness, as it looks a tad fuzzy

lens was a 50mm f1.8 zukio OM, using extension rings(these rings are just labled 1,2&3, I used all of them, and they measure 6.5cm all toghether)
