Rheostat or thermostat

I have a 20 gallon tank with a UTH, but it is getting way too hot for the leo. I have been told to get a temperature regulator, would you recommend Repti Temperature Rheostat or Zoo Med Laboratories SZMRT500R Repti Temp Thermostat?

Thermostat. :)
With the rheostat you'll still get fluctuating temps according to the changing room temps. You'll need to monitor it more often.

Here is a link to a post I made explaining the differences between a rheostat and a thermostat.

I have used the Zoo Med rheostat and 500R thermostat. I never liked the rheostat and ended up using the 500R. The 500R was great for me and I still use it to run my incubator, but have now upgraded my rack to use Ranco's. The Ranco and Johnson thermostats are great and there is no performance difference between the two. A proportional thermostat from Helix or Herpstat would provide the most stable temperature for the tank, but you do not have to rush out and buy one.
