Rinoa's first baby - F1 Creamsicle x SS

We got our very first baby from Rinoa today!! Some of you may remember this pic when she laid her first clutch ever, only one egg:

Rinoa is our Hypo Mack Snow from HJ (we're hoping to hatch Spider's long lost cousin sometime haha ) She came from SHTCT x SS. The SHTCT (Conan) was from Steve at Geckos Etc. (right HJ? I hope I am remembering correctly).

What we wanted to do with her is add some more SNOW into the mix, as opposed to taking the Creamsicle route and adding more Tang. We hope to eventually produce some high-white Super Hypo Mack Snows with this project (will take a few years at least). The dad is our SS from the LBS x MS, so we're hoping that the line bred genes also pass down to the next generation :main_thumbsup:

So even though this baby looks like a normal Mack Snow, he should Hypo out quite nicely. We are very excited to see how this one changes as it ages :sweetheart:

Kristi- it's weird because the egg that I thought was "sweating" was a totally different egg! So I have no idea, I hope that egg is still okay.. they are Rinoa's second clutch, which were laid one month after this first one.. and so why it was slightly sweating so early (still has another month to incubate) is beyond me.. maybe it's something normal that I have just never noticed before? The sweating did stop and the eggs looks normal again..?

Jess, I had to look on his card.....LOL....
on 10/08/08 he was at 53 grams.....
just weighed him before his "Snickers Night".....
84 grams.......9 1/2 "..........
.he is on the back of my neck, Waving to you..LOL
Seems to really like by body temp.......also the ladies
He'll stay as long as I'll let him.
Warming up here so he'll probably
get to ride to Atlantis for some treat crickets soon.

You'll have to get some updated pics of him sometime, we'd love to see his chunky butt!!
Speaking of Snickers bars, Rinoa hasn't had any in awhile, she's probably pretty upset about that! I'll have to get her some

As of now, we hatched another Mack Snow from this pairing and have two more eggs incubating. One of her eggs never did hatch, which I pipped, to find a dead Super Snow inside. It was very sad to say the least, but it does show that a Super Snow from LBS x MS paired with another Mack Snow, did indeed produce at least one Super from three eggs total.
