RIP Dink, the 26 year old Leopard Gecko from YouTube

Some of you guys may know Dink, the 26 year old Leopard Gecko from New Jersey. Seeing the videos of Dink was one of my biggest inspirations to get my Leopard Gecko... sitting on my computer watching me type... So I'm pretty sad about Dink. I kinda feel like one of my animals died.

RIP...can you imagine the wealth of genetics he had being from 1984. Poor guy Im glad he lived a long happy life where he was taken care of in the right way.

I saw that awhile ago, it's sad she died but at least she seemed to have had a pretty good life. RIP Dink <3

We should be happy for the long life it had, assuming the gecko was happy. I was reading the comments and apparently the owner has only had it for 8 years, the guy before him owned Dink and fed her insects from his yard and pinkie mice. Hm

If the yard was pesticide free would the insects not be a more nutritious and varied diet then farm raised crickets or meal/superworms? and the pink mice be a good source of calcium if fed sparingly enough?
