Roach Cleaning

For the first time today I cleaned out my dubia roach colony and *attempted to separate the breeders from the feeders. Needless to say it didnt go very well and all I really did was clean the tub and separate the adults and 3/4 of the babies of mixed sizes which I really didnt want to do.

Anyway could anyone give me some good advice or a link for a better way to clean and separate sizes?
