Roaches (where to get them)?

So our monitor is like morbidly obese, but otherwise he's okay. We have to drastically alter his diet now and feed him lots and lots of insects. We were recommended Dubia roaches (or some similar). Thing is that we have no pet store around here that sells the little buggers. We're going to just start a colony so we don't have to buy them every 5 seconds, but what's the best way to go about doing that? Any ideas as to how many we need to get to start and what kind of enclosure they should be in?

Google is my best friend! (lol) I just didn't know which sites were better than others etc. etc. so i thought I might get opinions from people who had already been down this buggy road. lol
