Has anyone had any feedback from him regarding the enigma gene? I might have read something in the past and forgot.
All I know is he does not care for the gene.

Thanks all. Sorry if I'm bringing up something old.

He didn't produce it first.... RT is a produce of morphs, not a reproducer ;)

His input, though holding some value, is only that of one person and I have never seen his opinion posted anywhere myself.

Alberto hatched the first mack eclipse, mack raptor and so on , but was a few weeks late on the SS raptor. You can't win them all :)

what or who is T.U.G.?

Ya know, personally I don't see what the big deal is an enigmas my self. I mean yeah they are kinda cool (I think there are better looking) and I can see that because its an incomplete dominate the genetic interest. But most of them IMHO aren't really that super-mecha-awsome. :main_lipsrsealed:

But than I haven't even incubated an egg yet so no one really cares :p :D:main_rolleyes:

As far as Ron.. I dont even know the guy and haven't really read much of his website or books so I aint saying nothin.:p

This is my question to him and his response from his chat on Kingsnake last March...

Eublepharids: What do you think of the enigmas and mack snows and do you plan on adding them to your projects?

MorphMaster: I have been using the mack snow genes for 2 years here towards some projects I am testing.

Eublepharids: cool cool

MorphMaster: I have some geckos that resemble the enigma line hatching this year........strange eye color and body pigments...... the snow is a proven morph. As for the enigs.....I think they could be a hot item but their genetics need to be tested and relieved through 2-4 years of more breedings........ nice geckos for sure.

That was before Tremper Enigmas were produced or at least publicly announced... I think he would have a different opinion now...

IMO

I think Ron will have an enigma by the end of the year. He has seen them in person, even the tremper enigma. as for what he thinks. Its not my place to talk about that. im sure at some point we will all know :main_thumbsup:

I don't think this is the place to make ASSumptions on what Ron Tremper thinks about the Enigma. If 'inquiring minds' need to know, why not just email him and ask him directly?

And tell us what he says :D

And as for the TUG thing, I thought he got his founding SHTCTs from the gourmet rodent?

From my own conversations with Ron, I agree with Michael's post. With out giving away anything from private conversations, it is safe to say that he thinks Enigmas are very beautiful and interesting gex. But he has very specific plans on the directions he is taking his own projects. If he hasn't added enigmas, then I would conclude that in his opinion they wouldn't lead in the direction he wants to go. Despite the size of his facility, I don't think he has much room for new projects;).....
