Rose is ovulating woo!

That was so exciting to look at Rose's belly and see that pink dot! I probably won't be breeding this year...as I have no males (since it's too cold to ship) and still have a few questions. I'm not ready just yet

Could someone inform me on how long they ovulate. Meaning how long one ovulation lasts, does it go away then come back...and how many months?

I can't wait to start breeding, even just seeing a pink dot was exciting :main_rolleyes:. Now I know why you guys do it!

I think it goes away after a couple of weeks if you don't breed. I'm still waiting for mine to ovulate! It is really fun if you breed.

Most of the time they will absorb the eggs back into them but some times they will lay infertile eggs if that happens just make sure you give her plenty of calcium

Ok so let me see if I have this stright. She'll ovulate only once a year and it stays for only a couple weeks.

I was told they ovulate for like 4 months in a year
