My 2 grandsons, ages 9 & 10, continue to amaze me with their interest in lizards. We have several different species on our lots. Earlier this week they went outside to catch some katydids, etc. to feed their albino geckos. Before I knew it, they had captured by hand 2 rough-tailed geckos!!! We now have set up another terrarium for them. This is getting to be more intense that I had ever expected as they are looking up online all of the information that they can find. It has turned into a very real learning experience for them and even their 2-year-old little brother. I am now looking for a 3rd terrarium, and we have set up 2 bins to raise crickets as gecko food. Super worms are next. Where will this end??? lol... I love it!
