A week ago, my 2 grandsons, 9 & 10, captured by hand a pair of Rough-Tailed Geckos. Now, that is what I call "trapping". They were so excited, so I set up a terrarium for them. A week later and it appears that what we think is the female has turned "white" which is we think the start of a molt. This is quite a science project for them as they are homeschooled. There is a reflection of the female in the glass, but it's a good comparison of the male and female, IMO.
