So I was checking out Sebastian tonight and trying to get him warmed up to me. I've had him for about 2 months. And I noticed that his nose looked like wet and shiney so I took a picture. What do you guys think ? I read it could be a respiratory issue. Should I take him to the vet ? 0907152225.jpg

Some just have shiny scales around the nose. If you confirm it is mucus or hear clicking/wheezing/whistling when he's breathing, that certainly requires a trip to the vet.

I haven't heard anything. He does breath really fast when I pick him up and handle him. I read that, that could just be stress though ? And how loud would the weazing be ? Should I put him like up to my ear or something.

No, you can usually hear it just by being quiet if they have a problem, especially if they are breathing fast.

You can always gently touch the end of his nose; it shouldn't make your finger wet if it's just shiny scales.
