Giovanna is my special needs dwarf. For the life of her, she doesn't know what shedding is. She will literally walk around for days with dried shed stuck to her whole body and not even think twice at what it is.
Today I was sitting here at the computer, and I heard crinkly noises. I figured she was just walking around (I noticed she was white last night, I always try to give her a chance to shed on her own) and looked back at the tank. She was rubbing her head on her log. So I left her, and decided to watch her. She did nothing. Absolutely nothing. She laid down into the back corner to take a nap. So took out the camera, because she was so cute all tangled in her shed, and I hit the side of the glass and scared her on accident. Sooo here's the picture I got of her standing up after I scared her all tangled. Shortly after I took off the dried up shed and is now a beautiful shade of sunshine yellow.
If I decided not to help her, she would continue to walk around like this for days, until I give in and help.
Enjoy. Hope it made you smile. =]
