Sad Craigslist gecko

Hey everyone- this is not my gecko, but I saw it browsing Boston CL and I really want to help, but I'm moving soon, I just grew up all these Enigma babies with neuro problems, I'm adopting a dog, and I'm really not sure I can take on another rescue right now.

Is there anyone close by that might be able to help out this poor gecko? I asked for more details. Hopefully (in the relative scheme of things) it's just stuck shed and some MBD, but who knows?

Here's the e-mail I got from her. The gecko looks, thankfully, not that bad off. I was picturing a pencil-thin tailed gecko with all kinds of crusty goo in the eyes or something. I'm trying to work with her to find a way for her to keep the gecko(s) and advised on UTH, humid hide, etc. I encouraged her to join the forum and seek out a vet that might be able to see the animal within her budget, as well.

Thank you for responding!! I've attached some pictures of what she looks like now. I got her from a ******** in Connecticut. She was in a 20 long with another leopard gecko, (a bit smaller) who is fine. They were on calcium sand but I took them off that about a month ago and now the sick one is on reptile carpet, I split them up. So now the sick gecko is in a smaller tank on her own. It’s around 80 degrees give or take a few, I have it on a reptistat. Heat is from heat lamps on top of the tank I had a basking lamp just during the day on a timer and a heat lamp on the reptistat. I now switch back and forth because I have to use two tanks. She eats medium sized meal worms (she did until she stopped eating). I really wish I could keep her healthy, as far as I know I followed all guidelines.
