i'm making a background today and i'm covering it with grout. i went to home depot and asked the man that was working for a non-toxic sealant, and he showed me this: http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=100

the problem is, he seemed very busy and not willing to help me, so i'm a little concerned if this is non-toxic or not! i read the can and it says nothing about being non-toxic or toxic...it also doesn't say water based or oil based.

does anyone know if this product will be okay?

...and the list goes on about the non hazardous materials, so it's completely non toxic! =)

When i made my terrarium i got a clear caulking to seal the edges. The ones to look for are the ones labeled for use in aquariums, they are non toxic.

Almost all sealents are fine once they cure. Just make sue tha that is done since they will outgas vapors until they harden like 2-3 days time frame
