ok so, I decided I'm going to get one becaue i've always wanted a uro. They are impossiable to get in Canada. So now that I iive in cali i'm going for it.
I wanted a saharan because they are so pretty but the only ones I found were wild caught. I didn't really want to deal with wild caught because of parasites etc and I know nothing about dealing with that.
So I talked to deer fern farms and he had malis. I read that they were the best bigginer species so I put a deposit on one =)
I can't wait to get him !
I have to get him a mercury vapor bulb and a hide still, and a thermometer.
I still want a saharan some time. Does anyone have any experience with wild caughts? Deef fern farms said he wouldn't have any until september. Maybe by then i'll be able to afford a cage for another one =)
