Awesome! I really wanted to start a saltwater reef and coral tank. They are beautiful. I've been told not to use a 10G but thats what I wanted to do... would that work? You can but I don't recommend such a small setup for someone new just because the tank can crash really quickly if 1 thing goes wrong try starting with a tank 40 gallon's or bigger so if a water parameter goes wrong you can adjust it in time to save your investment. I havent started it yet, because it is going to be really expensive... and I need to wait to get funding, or start really slow and get things piece by piece. I do have the tank, the live sand and the salt water mix. But I need the light before I can put anything in there, and that is gonna be like 100$. Then I need to buy the live rock, and that is going to be expensive! Oh, I have the chemicals to start with too... but that is a confusing department for me... All the pH and stuff.. I just dont get it, lol. Anyways, any suggestions on how to really get started? this book is really helpful it is only 80 page's long and $17.00 but you'll be glad you did.
