I live in SD too. I haven't gone herping in a while because all my old spots have been turned into housing:angry:

You can always try old town (the area by the old mission) or Otay lakes. I don't know if you're familiar with the area before the border state field park, but that's a good area.

im in sd too you could try some of the mountains over in chula vista there a bit of stuff there
