I feel having a scale is important to the care and breeding of our leos. Weight is key to a gecko's health. I know I can't guess a gecko's weight accurately. It is also important with breeding if doing a water to media mixture. I was surprised the first time I did the .8 water to perlite ratio. It was nowhere near as wet as I had expected. If I would have had to guess I would have made it much to wet. I have included the address of a site that specializes in scales. I purchased one from them with no problems.

Agree with you scales help us a lot in different ways . We should use digital scales which are easily available in market and able to provide good results .

I agree that every owner should at least have a cheap gram scale to moniter their geckos. It doesnt have to be fancy, but you just need it to do its job and help you keep your gecko healthy

same here bro. I agree with that. Having a scale maters a lot in order to keep your pet healthy. I would prefer a digital scale as its quite accurate and also easy to entailment.

Agreed with all the posters above. I just use a 20 dollar scale from walmart, actually this exact one.

Has an auto - zero, which is nice if your weighing your animals in a tub or container and not directly on the scale.

I weigh my Ball Pythons and Leo's every 2 weeks. It's good to keep track, as its often the first sign of a problem.
