Scars

My cat got to my gecko a couple months ago, and gave it a scratch on the head. While it wasn't that deep, it's scarring up pretty noticibly and I was wondering if the scars would ever heal completely? Or at least fade a bit.

Also, the cats are NOT allowed in my room or within 20 feet of me while I'm holding a gecko now.

Its not infected, because it's been two or three months since it happened. There's no scabbing left, there are just a couple scars

When my gecko was just a baby, he scratched his nose on a plastic hide-out while jumping for a cricket. It's been almost three years, and there's still a scar. Since claw wounds are more severe than a scratch on the nose, I'd say the scars will be there for a while.

My cat also got to my leo (though he got away with the tail sadly) there were some very minor wounds that healed and then after a few sheds weren't visible anymore. However I think it depends a lot on the depth of the wounds as far as time needed to heal goes.
