Scent really changes a lot!

My leo is still in the process of being tamed, so she does not like being picked up against her will(When I need to clean her tank etc) but she has never tried to bite me when I've done so. After I burned a few things earlier in the firepit, I went inside and did some cleaning in her tank, forgetting my hands and I smelled of smoke. The second I picked her up she started biting and trying to get away, thinking I was a predator. It really goes to show how much scent matters .

As soon as she started to try to bite me I put her back down realising I didn't smell the same. She probably would have dropped it if I held on to her though.
