Second DIY project

Decided to make an even more elaborate setup after the first one I did. This one has stairs on both sides leading up to the platform in the middle where I now have his food and water dishes. I also made an "escape proof" mealworm dish since I was on a roll. Sparks now has 2 hides on each side plus the space underneath each staircase serves as a hide as well. On his moist hide which is in the center, I decided to add the first letter of each member of my family which includes myself, my wife, and our 3 daughters. Amazingly enough, all of the women in the house actually love reptiles now. I used the same materials as last time...foam covered in grout but this time used Modge Podge as a sealant instead of tile and grout sealer. Any comments, questions, etc. are encouraged.

This is very cool. I wish I had the space and money to go towards something like this. I am sure I will end up doing one someday when I get a load of extra cash

This is in a 20 gallon long tank so I designed it to give him plenty of exploring room in that space. And the cost wasn’t too bad. For the foam, grout, brushes, and mod podge I maybe spent $45 total and the materials lasted enough to cover my first project plus this one.

WOW that looks really awesome! I did a similar project for my new female gecko so that she could use the hight of the terrarium. Your gecko seems quite settled in in the pic :D

Thanks. And yes he is, he will even do “laps” around the whole things sometimes. I also encourage his exploring by moving his food dish to a different spot every few days. Do you have any pics of your setup mörten? I'd love to see them.
