I think this baby is an enigma due to these spots because, they look like speckles to me. Also, when this baby hatched on 6/9/13 it looked jungle. I would just like a second opinion. Father is a bell snowglow enigma and mom is a macksnow het bell. Please let me know if anymore info or different pics are needed, and once again thank you for the help.

What should I be looking for to identify my babies as Enigmas. From what I have read there are blotches at birth instead of bands, spots look like speckles, and tails are white (which this baby does not have an all white tail). Am i missing something or just over analyzing. My male Enigma nor any of his off spring have shown any neuro issues so I luckily havent had that sign to go off of.

I no expert on enigmas but those look like bands on your gecko with darker spots inside them, much like a normal albino, SHT or tangerine. The enigmas I've seen have lots of scattered small spots or really funky patterns. They also seem to mostly have bright reddish orange eyes. I hope someone with first hand experience with the morph can chime in tho :)

I'm stumped. Dad is awesome and kind of looks enigma-ish to me but doesn't scream it. Most of the ones I've seen have had more orange eyes and a white tail. I'm not going to be anymore help determining if its enigma or not but will be interested to hear what others think!! They're both super neat no matter what!!

DrCarrotTail.....thank you for your advice and help. Dad was purchased from a breeder that i trust and have been buying from for 3 years now, so I trust the labeling as far as him being enigma. However this is the first year i have produced my own babies and i am still a newb at determining the correct names for my babies. I just dont want to label a baby incorrectly, so I do thank you for your effort with helping me.

I thought the gloves were for eclipse. The more pictures I see and the more I read about enigmas (you got me intrigued!) it seems a defining characteristic is an almost solid white tail. Or at least the leo wiki says this: http://www.leopardgeckowiki.com/index.php?title=Enigma

Because of this I really don't think your male is an enigma. I think he's a really nice Bell albino, which is what I would assume the baby is too.
