This is Goosebump - he's a sort of rescue. My friend and I bought him last year and he ended up staying with my friend in her dorm, which wasn't really the best for him. When we got him from the petstore he was missing one little foot and multiple toes as they had no humid hide and obviously weren't taking proper care of him. A year later my friend and I moved in together but he was still pretty much hers (even though I paid for half of him) and he was kept on sand and fed crickets...whenever she remembered to feed him. My friend ended up moving out so she let me take him within the past week and he's since been switched from sand to paper towel (and I plan to get some slate to switch to tile this week) and given as many crickets as he wants, although I plan to switch to dubia because I can't stand crickets. I can't remember how much he weighs now - it's under 30g but he's hunting some crickets atm so I don't want to bug him (he's not a fan of being picked up unless he's in his paper towel roll).

Apparently every time I walk by it's food time!! (...granted...I did give him crickets right after this).

Thanks guys! And yeah, I'm really glad I got her so she gets the care she needs. (I managed to pick her up and realized we've just been assuming she's a boy! And she weighs about 32g at the moment). Also, what morph is that geckos9? I've done a little looking at the different morphs but I'm not all that knowledgeable about them.

She looks like a SHTCTB which stands for Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy. :)

Here's a great site that shows you a lot of the morphs: http://www.leopardgeckowiki.com/index.php?title=Category:Morphs

Update! She's been eating lots of crickets and is now up to 36g and is starting to get a nice fat tail! She's such a character, I absolutely adore her. My computer desk is right next to her tank and sometimes I'll look over to find she's staring at me (I think she thinks I might be a giant cricket).

Another update! She's now 47g, eating dubia roaches and switched to a 41qt sterilite container. She's doing very well and is such a friendly girl.

/super long overdue update!

Goose is sitting at 57g at her last weigh in and seems to be holding there (is this a good weight for an adult female?). She likes to come out and chill in my laptop's cooling pad which isn't plugged in and hasn't worked in ages. She loves her dubia but I'm moving to Florida after I graduate so I may have to find an alternative due to them not being legal there. Any suggestions aside from cricks?

And a pic:

I just read your whole story! She is so amazing! And I love her little nub. Its adorable.
I'm so glad you got her the care she needs c:

I too live in Florida, and the fact that you prefer roaches over crickets will never make since to me ._.
Mealworms are really easy to gutload and to breed if you want to save money. Leos love them. There's also phoenix worms, hornworms and silk worms :)

Haha, I tried crickets but they're noisy, smell and they escape so easily! My dubias are amazing, I have them in a tub in my closet - I never hear them, they can't climb, don't smell and they can't bite either (plus they're better nutritionally)! But I know a lot of people are just grossed out because of the whole roach thing. I might try some worms, because I'm really not keen on crickets, but we'll see!
