Separate feeding tank

Has anyone used this as a way of feeding? My tank as of right now has to many spots where crickets can hide. I was thinking of setting up a 5-10 gallon tank with UTH and putting him in this to feed. Making it easier to catch them and less chance of the crickets hiding or escaping.

The crickets do come out and get eaten. I wouldn't worry much about that. Ever think of mealworms?

Ya he has mostly been on meal worms and wax worms. I just seen a few people say that you shouldnt leave the crickets in for a long time or they can stress the Leo
