I want to seperate my roach bins, with babies and small nymphs i one bin, then adults in the other. Im not sure how I would do this without mixing them together. How do you guys seperate them?

Thanks!

I keep B. dubia. I don't separate them. The nymphs will be adults in a couple of weeks, it will not make any difference. Besides, they don't cannibalize.

It's not my favorite job, but it does make it easier at feeding time. I put the rubbermaid I keep them in, sideways in another rubbermaid, not all the way in, and scoop all the adults into it. Many of them just run on out and fall into the other tub. I was thinking of making a screen and just filtering them that way, haven't gotten around to that, there might be difficulties with that as well. Good luck.

I keep dubias, and I do that once every 3 months...first, I put on a pair of latex gloves, then tranfer the adults to a seperate tub one by one. :)

I just put deli cups with food in my roach bin with different sized mesh covering the tops, the night before feeding. I dont really feed big roaches to often, but this works great for getting the little ones out and leaves me with enough adults on hand to simply scoop em.
