O'k my Leo was thought to be sick but pulled out nicely. Now with some help from you guy's I'm going to update my living area. Can you please help with renovations.

Tank - 10 gal ( glass w/wire top ) 1 UV light on timer 7am - 9pm / 40 watt basic blue light
--- 2 shelters - 4 piece rock work - water dish - food dish for meal worms etc.
--- 3 new desert plants

I bought a new under tank warmer for 20gal - it shows side or underside set-up - which would be better.

:main_huh: A member said that I needed a heated rock, but the LPS said that it wasn't a good ideal. ???

I also bought a new Ther/Humid Stat, please help with remodel, Thanks

Im glad your leo is ok now. The undertank heater is supposed ro go under the tank, since leos sue belly heat to aid in digestion, not over head heat. Make sure you have a dish of "pure" calcium with NO D3 or phosphorous added. A heat roick is also a bad idea. It will get WAY to hot and burn your gecko. They are very dangerous and should never be used. Makew sure your thermometer/humid Stat is digital witha probe to measure the substrate above the UTH under the warm hide. The cheap plastic stick-on thermometer or humidity guages are usless and give false readings.

Hope I helped, If I missed anything, let em know! :)

So far so good, I did get a Digital one and didn't get the rock. Where should I place the under mat.

Glad to hear the gecko is doing better! It does not need a UV light if you are using a UTH. If the UTH is designed for a 20-gal, you will need a way to control the floor surface temperature down to around 90-94 degrees. If you can't afford a temperature controller right now, put it on a rheostat or dimmer, and measure the temperature on the floor over the hottest spot.

Great! Im glad you chose a diogital one. You place the UTH on one side of the tank. Either all the way to the right, or all the way to the left. Tehn put one hide above the mat, one hide on the other end of the tank, and the humid hide on top of the amt aswell.

The mat stats are 10 gal to 20 gal heat and does it matter about my trees and also I use timers for my Saltwater fish lights for night & day. Does this matter when it comes to Gecko's - main light Should I leave it on 24/7 or is cool to time it.

"side" as in bottom of the tank which I know is what Baker meant, but where you are asking, I don't want you to get confused. Leos aren't climbers & need to crawl onto the heat.

Glad to hear your leo is doing well.
