I know this is a common thread, and normally I wouldn't need hlep as I'm comfortable with a loup and photographing but because of the background on the animal I just want a second opinion. (deep breath, I post long... heads up)
I got this gecko from a girl who got it and two others just under a year ago, never weighed any of them herself so I'm not sure what size they were when she got them, but she kept them all together in a tank and was feeding them alternating CGD and baby food with crickets once per week, the other two were visibly considerably larger than this one when I saw them, though this one was scrawny it did not look depleted or malnourished, just not quite as filled in as the other two. She was reluctant to part with it because she thought it was the female in the group and wanted to keep a pair but since either way she was making out in our trade she let me take this one. I guess she was making that gender call based on the relative sizes and the fact that the other two showed some bulging, and one of them "protected" this one by hovering over it a lot supposedly. To me it sounded like it was getting bullied without any nipping aggression, but regardless I wanted this one as the apx age and weight, though low, were still within the ok range. Well since being moved away from the other two it has grown beautifully for me, from 13g the first week of december to 22g today.
my issue is that I had noticed some slight bulging happening, but I can't decide if it is dramatic enough to count it as male bulging or if its just from the gecko getting bigger, I tried to loup it without much success and I took some pics but am not sure if I'm seeing pores or color variation. To me the bulging looks almost like the minor female bulging in sexing pics, but I kinda feel like I see pores (I circled what I think I see in one of the pics), I was hoping female but my gut is saying male. I don't care either way, but I'd like to settle on a name finally so I'm reaching out to those with longer experience, any weigh in on if I'm seeing things, or if there really are pores and hemepenes going on here.
thanks in advance!

(pics, although probably obvious are: "pores" close up with circling/arrow, side view from a few days ago, and underneath view from today, at least, supposing I attatched them right... :main_rolleyes
