We'll I have had people on the board look at pictures of one of my geckos and say he's male just like what I thought. However, he still doesn't show matured pre anal pores. He does have bulges but not huge. They are bigger than my females for sure but my females have the pores that aren't of course male pores but appear like males because they are mature females. He is probably 8-9 months old maybe a month less. Shouldn't the pores be definitely showing now.
More info on him. He did drop his tail at some point. It's pretty much fully regenerated now. Would this slow his maturing or even gives the appearance of bulges from the dropped tail?
id really like to know for sure cause I just picked up another male and he bred right away with my female. He's definitely a male his pores are obvious and he's around the same age. My male weighs around 67 grams. The new male is only 45.
