I've always wanted a bird. but never had the pleasure, I had the opportunity to get a African Grey, for free from a friend once when i was like 15 or 16. but my mom wouldn't let me :/

That's a shame, birds are unique creatures.

This guy is a cuddler and not very loud, though I'm sure he could be if he wanted to. He's very social but not demanding of attention as I've found some others to be. He's finally realized his cage is a safe place for him and is willing to go back into it after time with "mommy". When I first brought him home it took everything I had to get him to back into his cage without making him feel as if it were punishment.
