Hello,

OK I guess I should have included all the little ones in the same posting, but I didn't so....here's another Petco find we picked up a couple of weeks ago. I wandering if this one will turn into SHTCB? It's still pretty young I know, but I figured I would see what some thoughts are.

The photo didn't turn out as good as I hoped it would, but the tangerine coloring is pretty intense and the head lacks any kind of spotting.

I think it could be a very nice SHTB, the Carrot-tail like said before. Is a matter of chance, if both parents had a fair amount of carrot-tail you can expect some great things from this one! :D

Thanks for the replies. Yeah don't know what parents looked like since we got it from Petco. But either way we are very excited and can't wait until this gets older!

My gecko looks exactly like that when it was younger. Except, mine has black spots on the head.. maybe your gecko IS a baldy. Also, my gecko did not have any carrot-tail coloration until it shed a few more times that size. I'm definitely sure your gecko will develop a carrot-tail.

My leo's been labeled a tangerine, but I'm thinking it's just a hypo tangerine. Anyway, I'll post a picture of my gecko for your reference, just to show you.. hope you don't mind :)

Looks a lot like mine when she was that age, if that black ring at the base of the tail turns orange like mines tail did, then youll have a carrot tail.

You have a nice tang. Too much spotting to be called a hypo.

Don and Sally your geckos looks like a very cute shtb right now. In a couple more sheds we will see if the carot tail starts or not.

OK now that some time has passed by and this little guy has been shedding and growing...here's a current pix taken tonight. It looks like carrot tail is happening.
