Unless a gecko is really fat you can usually tell very easy when they are gravid, even my when at her most fat I could still see the eggs, all though not sure in every case of course.

The only thing I can tell you is candle them, or just wait it out and see.

as far as egg denting, ive had eggs that ive found dented, quite a few actully. I was told just to burry them 3/4ths the way instead of only half way, and as long as they werent realy bad dents, they've popped out for me. Dented eggs are so frustrating, i know its not because my hides arnt humid enough, or are to humid. Im guessing the momma just steps on them or something. Probley because alot of mine are first year breeders

egg denting

move the eggs to a mixture of vermiculite if you can, i've had good luck with moist vermiculite.
The verm. seems to clump closer when it's moist, I had two dented eggs from the same clutch, one i put in perlite mixed slightly more damp than recomended, and the other egg i put in vermiculite mixed slightly more damp than recomended. within a few days the one in verm. filled out, the one in perlite was still dented...

**by slightly more damp, I am saying about 5g extra of water per 60g of medium**

after a few days and a lot more babysitting the perlite egg filled out also..
both eggs hatched fine.

i think perlite is better when you catch the eggs in time, and they are kept moist, but vermiculite does seem to transfer it's moisture faster than perlite for 'fixing' slightly dehydrated eggs...
I have since switched to perlite exclusively, but I am keeping that leftover bag of vermiculite just in case...

ps. mine were originally dented because I didn't get to them in time...
