Hi all,
Not that I like posting one of those noob questions but I'm a bit stumped. Chakra finished laying her last clutch about a month or so ago and after that time started refusing crickets and butterworms instead only wanting supers with the occaisional silk. Not that I minded, and she was happily putting on weight, tail fattening up again and etc.
So about a week ago...she just stopped. She's not lethargic whatsoever (in fact she looks almost restless and is very active most of the day and night--she's just sleeping in weird places and seems distracted), heat pad seems to be doing a-ok according to my temp probe (holding at 95) and she still occaisionally passes tiny poops. She's looking good, eyes are clear, joints are strong and she's not dragging along at all.
She's not been on sand ever, and for the last few months has only been on paper towels. Since she went on a superworm bender thats been her food of choice and since she was bouncing back from her breeding season she had as much as she wanted. D3 cal is twice a week, repti multivits twice a week and plain calcium three times a week.
Today she was holding at 73 (down 3-4 g over a week) but her tail is getting thin-ish (well for her--she had this gorgeous huge tail originally). I've offered her silks but no interest either.
She got like this once before and when I replaced the heat pad she went back to chowing down, so I order that and a thermostat and worse comes to worse it should be here Tuesday. Forgot to mention that in May she had her check up and was all good.
Any ideas?
