Shed Help?

My leo, Sammy, started to shed the other day, and then stopped. There is still creamy colored skin on his head that he should shed, but he just hasn't yet. When should I start to be concerned? Should I help him with getting it off?

Thanks in advance!

In most cases the first skin that the gecko removes is the head so it is a bit concerning. If the skin is still soft you may be able to gently assist him getting the left over shed off. If it is dry and "crispy" you may want to give him a warm soak in a shallow water dish for 5 or 10 minutes to soften up the skin before attempting to help remove it but IMO since you notice it I would address it now.

I assume your temps, and supplements are correct as well as providing a humid hide? These (could) be reasons the gecko had a problem shedding. Then again if everything is correct, sometimes a gecko has a bad shed from time to time.

Yup! Everything is correct and he's been in his humid hide all day today (that I've seen at least).
