Shed mealie

I had some mealies in her dish today before the tank switch

One of the mealies had shed it's brown skin and was white and very soft

I dropped it in front of Fleck and she nabbed it before it could move lol

It was just weird to see it after it shed

They'll act the same with with freshly molted crickets. Delicacies!

Yea it is better for them, much easier to digest than the brown chitin sheds...the whiter they are the better they are.
