Shed on Nose

My gecko has stuck shed around the nose area. It is just a small bit of skin, but he injured himself there when he was a baby by jumping and a cricket on the humid hide and scratching his nose. What would be the best option to remove this skin?

use a wet Q-tip and rub it softly on the nose - then the shed should come of.

The wet Q tip should work well, gently pull it after it's been dampened. If there's a lot of force keeping it stuck, don't pull anymore, and wet it some more. You can also try one of the commercial shedding aids. I use Zilla Shed-Ease regularely.

Be careful not to get any water in the nose because that could kill your gecko.
