shed on toes

so i have had my gecko for about 3 months now. I have noticed since i have had him he has always had shed on his toes. is this normal? or if not how do i help him remove it? And while I am asking about shed. how often should he be shedding?

Your gecko needs a humid hide so he can shed completely. Otherwise the shed can accumulate and he may lose his toes.

A small plastic container with a hole cut in the side, and some moist paper towel will give him a humid retreat.

You may want to soak his toes to help the old shed come off.

If he can't get it off himself, you may need to gently help him remove it.

I do a little 10-15 minute soak in lukewarm water and use a Q-tip to gently rub the shed off toe's.

Be sure the water is only deep enough for the Gecko to stand in it and supervise at all times - Gecko's can and do drown
