story goes

I was killing time so i stopped into a chain pet store. they had a sale on leopard geckos babies for $15..i couldnt resist. i picked the one that i thought was white and grey...but when i got him home i noticed that it was a very very very dull yellow...so today(3days later) he shed..still a very dull yellow

Could just be its colors. Genes, incubation temps, health, and (some believe) temps of the enclosure itself can dull the colors. If you could post a pic, you could probably get a better answer. I'm pretty sure there can't be a layer of shed under one that just came off, but I can't be certain.

Hmmm. That's different. I was going to say it's probably just its morph, but I've never personally seen a gecko with such a dull yellow color and then brighter yellow legs. I think you'll have to wait for someone more experienced. Since it's late you might have to wait a bit, but someone else can probably give you a definitive answer. Sorry I can't be of more help. Still adorable though. :)

I say Aberrant, since it has the broken pattern on the body but not the tail.
Leopard Gecko Wiki : It says Aberrants are seen in Mack Snows and Normals, I may be wrong though.

The pattern could be considered aberrant, but weather it has an aberrant or banded pattern it still doesn't change the fact that it looks like a Snow.

I also think it's a snow but I think aberrant just refers to the broken bands on the body. Sorry wasn't clear on the being a snow part

My first instinct was to say snow, but I don't think I've seen a snow with such bright yellow legs like that (in comparison to the body). But maybe that's just me being inattentive. Is that how they usually are?

Yes. As they grow, the white coloring on many Mack Snows will fade to yellow. Lower quality snows tend to turn more yellow than higher quality animals.

Here are two of mine - The male is a fairly high quality definite snow (from Enigmatic Reptiles - you should see the yellow on his non-snow bolds!!!) and the Female is a medium quality possible snow from Ohio Gecko. They're both about 40g and have a fair bit of yellow. They'll be paired this coming season and if I'm lucky I'll get a couple Super Snows :)

As Brad said the juveniles tend to be much more white and they color up as they grow. It's really fun to watch! Enjoy!
