so my leo is shedding for the first time since i got him and he doesnt use his moist hide at all in fact i dont think he has ever gone in it. does he know if he needs it or is he just stubborn about it or something?

Where is the moist hide in relation to your heat source? I like to put them half on the UTH and half off so they are a little warm.
