Hi,

So one of my geckos (2yr old) has been having problems with shedding. It doesn't appear to be coming off as easily as it used to and more importantly skin is getting stuck on his feet. I've tried helping him, but I don't want to tear off his fingers or feet! The best idea I've had was to soak his feet in luke warm water to soften the dead skin, but I could not get it all off. Does anyone have any other ideas? It's affecting his movement and eating. thanks.

...or you can sit it inside a closed tupperware container (sandwich size, if you have one... if not, any other will work too) that you have laid a few folded up wet paper towels on the bottom of.... (room temp water, not cold)... sit the gecko inside of this, close the lid, and leave it for 30 mins... the inside will get real humid and moist, and when u take it back out after 30 mins, it should come right off with tweezers... if it is still stuck, put your container back in for another 30 mins, and this time, it will deff. come off with no problem.
