Shedding Problem

Ok so norbert finally shed, i guess tht explains y he wasnt eating, i looked at him and he sucessfully got all of his shedding off (even around his toes) the only spot he didnt get off was the top of his head.. he isnt use to me handling him so i cant pick him up easily.. i dont want to stress him out.. can he eventually get his shedding off naturally? I have a moist hideout with spaghnum moss

usually they will get the shed off by themselves as long as you keep their moist hide moist. if it doesnt come off in a few more days you could drip some water on the dead skin. one of my geckos doesnt shed as well as the others and i ended up using zoo med repti shedding aid that you can buy from most pet stores that you spray on your reptile. that stuff works wonderfully and the skin just slides right off. i like having some on hand just in case the shed gets stuck on toes, as that skin can be very stubborn.
